Flowering Chojuho Azalea Bonsai Tree (Chojuho Satsuki Azalea)
Compact, low-growing, evergreen Bonsai tree that is twiggy and dense with a spreading to rounded form. Leaves are lance-shaped to elliptic and notably smaller than other azalea hybrids making it the wonderful bonsai tree that it was originally bred to be. Showy, star-shaped, dark red to orangish-red flowers. Flowers are borne from May to June. Prune immediately after flowering so you won't cut off any of next year's flower buds. Beautiful tree that will lend a soft, delicate texture to a patio, deck, balcony or garden. Keep outdoors.
